How to measure your AI visibility
AI has no public search-volume tool. Measuring visibility means asking the models the questions your buyers ask — repeatedly.

Unlike Google, AI assistants don't publish rankings, impressions, or search volume. So measuring your AI visibility means simulating your buyers: asking each assistant the questions a real customer would ask, and recording whether — and how — your brand shows up.
The three things worth tracking
- •Mention rate — how often you're named at all across a set of buyer questions.
- •Citation rate — how often the answer links to your site as a source.
- •Share of AI voice — your mentions versus competitors' for the same questions.
Why you sample, not spot-check
A single question asked once tells you almost nothing — answers vary by phrasing, date, and randomness. A trustworthy measurement asks many buyer-relevant questions, across multiple phrasings, sampled several times, ideally with the model grounded in live web results rather than stale training memory.
What a good score looks like
There's no universal pass mark, but the useful signal is direction and comparison: are you improving over time, and how do you stack up against the competitors the models actually name? A brand that appears in 60% of relevant answers is in a very different position than one that appears in 5%.
Squoze scores this as a transparent 0–100 AI Visibility Score and tracks it over time, so you can prove the lift after you act.
